1. I forgot my username or password

1. I forgot my username or password

Issue:
You created a log in with a unique username and password, but cannot remember it.

Solution:

  1. Go to http://tpaself.kenblanchard.com/assessmentlogin.asp?bhcp=1
  2. Click on "Click here to obtain your username or password" and input your email address in the pop-up window that appears and hit “Submit.”
  3. Your username or password will be automatically sent by the system to your email address.

2. The Web page cannot be displayed

Issue:
This will happen when the assessment link within the email invitation is incomplete or shortened.

Solution:

  1. Copy the entire assessment link within the email invitation
  2. Paste it directly into your Internet browser address bar
  3. Hit “Enter” or “Go.”

3. I can’t view my report

Issue:
You completed the assessment and now you want to log in and view your report results; however, the report is not available.

Solution:
If you get a message that you cannot view your report yet, then your training administrator has disabled the viewing feature. Generally, this is done as part of a training design where report results will be reviewed live in class.

  1. Please contact your training administrator to confirm your report status. (The training administrator is the person at your company responsible for managing your learning program.)

4. I get a blank screen when trying to view and print my report

Issue:
When you try to view and print your report, as instructed in your email invitation, you only see a blank screen.

Solution:
You must check to make sure that your pop-up blocker is disabled or turned off on your Internet browser before accessing the assessment Web site. (Please note: Secondary Internet toolbars, such as Yahoo® and Google™, also have pop-up blocker settings that will need to be disabled too.)

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on “Tools.”
  3. Pop-up blocker will be listed in the drop-down list
  4. Click on “Turn off Pop-up Blocker” to disable the setting.

To disable the Yahoo toolbar.

  1. Click on the pop-up icon (to right of highlighter pen)
  2. Click on “Disable Pop-Up Blocker.”

To disable the Google toolbar.

  1. Click on “Options.”
  2. The toolbar options window will appear
  3. Uncheck box to the left of pop-up blocker.

5. I am stuck at the “Processing ... Please Wait” screen after submitting my answers

Issue:
There is an Internet setting on your computer that is interfering with your report generation within the website.

Solution:
First, you must disable your Internet browser’s pop-up blocker.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on “Tools."
  3. Pop-up blocker will be listed in the drop-down list
  4. Click on “Turn off Pop-up Blocker” to disable the settings


To disable the Yahoo toolbar:

  1. Click on the pop-up icon (to right of highlighter pen)
  2. Click on “Disable Pop-Up Blocker.”

To disable the Google toolbar:

  1. Click on “Options.”
  2. The toolbar options window will appear
  3. Uncheck box to the left of pop-up blocker.

 Then, go to http://tpaself.kenblanchard.com/assessmentlogin.asp?bhcp=1 and enter the username and password you created.

  1. If you can log in, then your results were recorded and you will need to regenerate your report
  2. To regenerate: under item #1 click on “Generate Report.”

If you cannot log in or you do not have the option to regenerate, then please contact your training administrator to confirm your report status. (The training administrator is the person at your company responsible for managing your learning program.)

6. I can’t advance through the assessment using the navigation buttons

Issue:
You are able to log in to the assessment and select your answers, but cannot move forward or backward using the “Next” or “Previous” buttons.

Solution:
If you are not using a preferred browser when accessing the assessment, then you will not be able to navigate within the Web page.

Check to make sure that you are using one of the following preferred browsers

  1. Internet Explorer 5.x or higher
  2. Netscape 6.2.3 or higher
  3. Safari 1.0

***Please note: Mozilla Firefox is incompatible with this assessment.
