Tutorial - Setting Default Date & Time Formats

When creating a new project, you can set the default format for how dates and times are displayed when participants access their course details by changing the default project language.

In order to set the default format, use the Language option under step 4 of the first page of the project setup screen (see screenshot below). Click on Edit default settings and then select the appropriate option from the "Language" drop-down menu. You can find details further below on how each language option changes date/time formats.

Note that participants can also modify their default language after logging into Blanchard Exchange under their personal account settings which also impacts the way dates & times are displayed.

*Note: Language options above with an asterisk indicate that the language option also sets the default interface language for participants, but does not automatically set the default course/email language. The interface language includes items such as the learner's profile settings screen and course navigation. A translated course along with translated email templates must still be manually selected by the administrator during the project setup in Blanchard Exchange.
